Planted my beetroot and French dwarf beans over a week now when I planted them I did water him a couple of times there today there's no show of anything just too little dwarf beans coming up is this something to do with the heat we are  Having Thanks

At any time, the germination rate will be better if you chitted them before they went in the ground.

Once the seeds are in the ground, don't let the soil dry out, especially in warm weather. It doesn't need to be soggy, just moist.

A week is not unusual for germination time for these seeds though.  Give it some it some time.

Hi, are you certain the shoots haven't been eaten? I planted French dwarf direct about a week ago and only 2 showing which when you think I put 3 seeds per hole is not a lot, but I'm still hopeful. Netted as the pigeons had a go at earlier planting. Not had this before but they are recovering since I've netted.
I always sow my beetroot in modules, little often and they are usually up in 7days.

Having a lot of initial probs germinating my dwarf French beans I managed to get six plants which are now growing well. As for beetroot, I both sowed some in modules  which I planted out earlier and some direct sown. I now have my OH pickling them as fast as he can pull 'em!
