The marker says garlic. But these are not joined together. It looks like I just put a bunch of seeds close together.
I didn't. There are 4 clump like this. Can't work out from taste what they are (probably onion taste. Very confused (as usual) HELP!

Looks like either you planted a whole garlic bulb/head, or possibly last year's garlic which wasn't harvested and is re-growing from each new clove. I've had the latter before, they're easily missed once the tops die back
