Does anyone have any experience of growing Turkish aubergines? My plants are massively ahead of the Jewel variety (see photo) so I'm not sure if the Jewel are slow (seeds at least a year old) or the Turkish ones are fast. They were all sown early February and grown on under grow lights in the house (the house was cold for two weeks in March when we were away) and more recently onto window sills.
Also interested to know people's view of the taste as I have 3 strong looking plants...
