Saving Cucumber Seeds
« on: September 07, 2021, 12:47 »
I have F1 Carman cues growing in my greenhouse, not a bad crop bearing in mind the poor spring and summer weather.

If I take seeds from a F1 cue will they germinate next year ?.

I've tried it with plum tomato's we bought from Tesco and every seed germinated.

Thanks in advance

Seeds saved from an F1 variety will not grow into the same variety that they were saved from. They may taste nice, or they may not. You just never know.
It's up to you whether you think it's worth the risk..
