i have been watching my corn, as the vermin usually know they are ripe before me...i tried one today, the tassles were brownish but the top felt rounded, so went i for it....it was fabulous... :D

Tomatoes to see if they are ripe, only a handful so far from the greenhouse.
Polytunnel ones are determinedly green. Outdoor ones checking for blight.
Checking melons for increasing size and ripeness and aubergines for pollination and growth.  I actually have some this year!
