I couldn't believe my eyes when we called in at one of our local garden centre's [Dobbies] today and  seen parsnips for sale in module trays they where about two inches tall and 3 parsnips in each module they looked quite healthy pants I was always of the opinion that one couldn't transplant parsnips 

I always seem to get my parsnips to fork and although i didn't bother to get what variety of parsnip  where in trays it would be most interesting to see how they produce

I was once foolish enough to buy parsnips from a garden centre which had been grown in modules and looked lovely and healthy on top.  The parsnip roots went round in circles!

from what your all saying parsnips sold in trays are a rip off I did think the same thing so its back to the old methods with growing parsnips enough said
