I have read everywhere that cross pollination of squash only affects the seeds, but how do I explain this one? I have two triamble plants, one is planted next to a Turks turban, and the squash looks like a cross between the two - it is smaller and has a turban kind of ridge to it. I have one large triamble growing (the large green one which is situated further away from the Turks turban). Photos attached of the crazy squashes. Photo 1 of the normal triamble, photo two of the normal turks turban, and photo 3 of what should be a triamble
Can anyone enlighten me as to whether this is because of cross pollination?
