Broad beans.
« on: August 08, 2020, 15:42 »
Hello everyone,

Can anyone tell me if my broad beans should look like this please? Other than sleep next to them watching for black fly, they have had the most care in my garden. It’s the first time for me to grow them so not sure what I’m doing.  Thank you x

Yes they look about normal to me, now would be the time to give them a soaking to the roots to encourage those beans to swell. Don’t let them get too big before you pick them. Some people eat them in their pods but I never have so can’t advise on that.
