Saskatoon berry

Looking for suggestions for leaf discolouration on a recently planted Saskatoon berry.

Over the last week the leaves have gone from a healthy green to yellow or red.  The soils fairly heavy clay but drainage hasnt been an issue with anything else planted in the same bed. It's my first time growing Saskatoon and I've got no idea what to try to save the plant.

When you say 'recently', how recently was that?

I'm not familiar with the Saskatoon, but the shock of transplanting any deciduous plant when in leaf is likely to cause it to drop its leaves, although it may still establish and come back next year,

If it was planted while dormant, it could just be it can't cope with the clay soil if the drainage is poor.
Sow your seeds, plant your plants. What's the difference? A couple of weeks or more when answering possible queries!

They grow wild in parts of BC that average 30-35 in the summer with little rain

I’d love to get one such an unusual taste where was your plant from?

Not sure if they need acid soil like blueberries I’m sure google would tell you
