Hi.  I know it is 'normal' to sow broad beans Oct/Nov of Feb thro' to Apr. But, I read awhile ago (on this site I think) that someone was sowing broard beans in June / July. As I luv em so much I am going to give them a try. To have a reasonable chance of success I'm wondering what variety might work best. Anyone tried or have any ideas please?

Luz de Otono is an autumn cropping variety

I think ‘The Sutton’ is another that can be sown quite late and is more readily available. Might try a row myself

I've never done so but I was going to suggest a dwarf variety - and see that Nobbie already suggested it
