I've just noticed that my tomatoes are looking slightly odd.  Things are getting all bunched up at the top.

Is this normal?

Tomatoes often get curly tops when there's a big difference between daytime and nightime temperatures, which usually settles down after a few days, as the weather gets back to normal
Other than that it could be bought in compost that has been contaminated with weedkiller in the green waste they've used. There was a lot of this about last year, but I haven't heard of any cases yet this year.

Mine look the same and do every year at this time, so nothing to worry about

Yes, if it's temperature fluctuations ( the weather sorts itself out and returns to normal uk weather )
No if it's caused by weedkiller damage
