we have been able to get plain and self raising no probs but 00 flour! No chance  :(
I have around 30 odd bags of pasatta in the freezer (hate dried pasta) that is sat waiting for the day we can once again make it.

I noticed my local Asda had also bagged up flour from the on site bakery last Saturday when I went for my weekly shop. None of the shops in this area have had any since before lockdown.
Last Thursday I had a family funeral to attend, on the way home I stopped at an oriental foodstore in Glasgow ( it was just a small diversion off the motorway!) and they were fully stocked up, needless to say I bought 2 each of  self raising and plain flours as well as Garam flour and semolina, as well as the usual herbs and spices ( bigger packs, better value) and veg oil which has also been hard to find.
Needless to say we've made pancakes, chocolate cake, pakora, potato & fruit fritters and pizzas and even saltdough for my son.

MrsPea, she bought it in Morrison's in eastbourne.  Son also picked up some in aldi.  It's so random as to when things are in stock.

You can get it mail order from this place Aidy.  Not the cheapest, but their products are usually very good quality.

I've been keeping an eye out for spelt flour for my sourdough starter.  I have enough to feed him for a few more weeks, then he is going to have to slum it with what I can get or go in the freezer.  He lives in the fridge being fed once a week and I have cut the volume by half to preserve supplies so far.
