Stewarty,remember to collect all the woodchip and not dig it in as it uses a lot of nitrogen in the soil to break down. Not even worth composting as it takes too long. Local landowner put straw on a field prior to it being sold. The new owner managed to drive a tractor on but still too wet to turn.
We have lots of lovely lakes, none of which can be turned let alone tilthed. No potatoes up here, crisp eaters beware
