Mulch for strawberries
« on: February 21, 2020, 06:12 »
Strawberries are going to be planted through black weed suppressing fabric in a raised bed.  Can I use wood chips as a mulch?  Eldest son has access to vast amounts of the stuff.

It's worth a try. Leave a little space around their crowns to provide a bit of air then, when things finally dry out (  ) the rough chips may help to deter those nasty slugs and snails.
I work very hard so don't expect me to think as well.
