Hubby and i have rcently bought a small holding and we are attempting to renovate the veggie garden. Yesterday i dug up about 5 asparagus crowns. Will they still be OK to use and replant or should I discard them. They were very soggy (our soil is clay which seems to have been improved in the past) The previous owner did tell us they were in the bed but the fern like fronds were virtually non existant back last summer.
