Hi,

On Saturday I picked a nice green head of Broccoli.  Today I find all the heads on the remaining plants have started to turn black, all in the center.

Picked one for a closer look and found its gone all soft, almost like a puree in the discoloured areas.

They grow under enviromesh.

Any ideas?

Hi. I was watching your thread with interest as the same thing has happened to my kohl rabi. Were growing well and just starting to swell, and then after a week or so of wet weather the growing point in the middle - so all the young leaves etc. has just turned into a slimy, smelly rotten mess. Presuming it’s the weather? But hopefully someone else will know for sure.
