Thank you both! it was all delicious! The non-orange carrot tasted a lot like a parsnip, it was a seed from a packet of "rainbow carrots".

Homegrown veg dumping soil all over your worktop making you feel like a real gardener - there is no beating that :D

Oh definitely!! I just want to move to a small holding and grow veg for the rest of my life to sell at markets, but, for now, ill stick to feeding me and the OH for now haha.
