Hi - I'm a fairly new allotment gardener and my peas and beans are being bothered by pea and bean weevils. This is the first time I've come across these critters. Does anyone have any experience and advice on the best way to deal with them? Lots of other allotments in the area have them too. Thank you

They probably won't cause any long term damage and the plants will grow through it and produce their crop.  Give them a little help by keeping them watered so that they can grow quickly.

This is probably the first year I have had too much time on the plot, while I am waitng for a weed to pop up so I chop ts head off last night I decided to wonder down the broad bean and re- home said insects, I collected hundreds of the damn things.
