Hi, I'm very new to all this??? Even posting had me foxed.
I sowed my runner bean seeds on the 16th May and there is no sign of them growing yet. Is this normal? I have watered them and they are in the ground.

they do take a while to come up  keep them well watered

Hi My runner bean seeds took at least 2 weeks to show and then there was no stopping them,you should see some thing soon.

Runners normally take a few weeks to come up, then go crazy.
They certainly never come up in 7 days like the packets often say, but they do normally show it as 7-14 days.
As said above wait a little more and they will be fine.

You could brush the soil carefully and you may see the beans opened up and just about to pop the soil.

I always soak my beans overnight before sowing, not sure if that speeds them up or not, just always done it. They still take a few weeks.
