I found some seed .. they are unopened, BUT were sent out in 2006, part of the GW Chilli trials. I've sown them today . Are they likely to germinate, do you think? I've never grown chilli before, so have no idea how well seed keeps.

Sources differ but they tend to give 4-6 years to pepper seed.

There is such info on this sight, too, I think, somewhere... :roll:

they should still be ok, ive got seeds going back to 2004 that still germinate fine.

i might be wrong but one of the varieties GW sent out was numex twilight!
