Can I plant a philadelphus

I bought one from Lidls - its only little with two small branches.

Will it be ok if I stick it in the ground now?

Better off in the ground than in them little bags of peat they come in, soak in water for a couple of hours first, then plant, add any organic matter you can and water well in.
