Hi, for the 2017 season, I want to grow Cauliflowers. can any one tell me ,how long or deep, does the tap root grow?.Could it grow in aconfined space.

It does grown quite deep.  At least a foot.  They need lots of space as they are big contrary plants.  I have yet to get the hang of them.
