At the moment I have 8 hens in an area of 27ft by 9 ft. It does look roomy and they are very comfortable. However, I will be moving them soon to another part of the garden and I think it could be smaller without detriment and I would gain some more garden for me. What would be an ideal size for 8 hens and still have a good mooch about area.The width would probably be more like 7ft. Thank you. I'm not very good with sq metres so if you could just come up with a length in feet please . . .
