I hate wild garlic! Every clod of earth you turn over reveals more of them, from about conker size down to smaller than a pea. So you clear them out, straighten up, look down and there's another one looking at you. Then you break the clod up and there are some more, hidden inside.
Then you do it all over again...

Mind you I think I'm getting there. There are some areas which seem garlic free - so far.
