ok, so being a novice i i put my beet, turnip, swede seeds in a propogator and now they need putting in to the ground, they are all about 3inches tall, will it be ok to move them or should i start again putting the seeds directly into the ground

Hi Mat, I don't think those seeds you mention benefit from heat to get them started you can plant them direct or in modules first if you get flea beetle attacking your swede seedlings as I do.  If you are going to plant them out they might suffer from shock and they may already be too leggy.  It's not too late to sow direct though.  Good luck!

You have to spend a few days hardening them off (getting used to the outside world) at least, before planting them out on the plot.
