Tomato Grow Pots
« on: May 11, 2016, 13:52 »
Going to be using tomato grow pots this year for the first time.  I usually buy the 50 litre grow bags, but as I'm using grow pots could I just use the 33l or will the bigger size still make a difference.

Cheers

We used them last year..very successful. We sank them into the soil in the greenhouse and watered a lot. We could then plant other things around to deter whitefly etc...

Just put them in again, now with fancy obleisks from W****s to help with support.
Very good with cucumber, too.

I had a good crop last year used verve grow bags but didn't sink the rings in added extra compost before I put the tomato in. This gave deeper compost. I also used some of the flower buckets with the end cut off. The deeper compost bags are £5 each so very pricey.
