Day before yesterday my siver seabright 1 yr old hen was acting slow, seperate from my small group. Not her usual happy self. I monitored her last night no change i brought her inside set up heat lamp ran 2 stores obtained corid, nutrients liquid cayenne pepper poly visol and began to assist her. Shes not eating this morning she has a yellow watery loose droppings with green in it. I have pics of her and droppings. Shes laying down in a box top of fresh s tr aw next to heat lamp. Ive given liquid nutrient and water dosed with corid. I need help pls. Im a new chicken keeper 1 yr. Not had anyone sick b4.

I ran her to our vet. Had no idea they would even c a chicken. They did everything they could for her. Shes gone. Im so upset. Im having necropsy done and testing her droppings. I DONT want to lose anyone else. Im praying for answers right now. Im so sad.

If vets are good with chooks, then an autopsy would help to answer questions.

How many chooks do you have and what ages are they?
Do they free range or in a run?
Is the house and run covered or open?
What are they fed...incl treats?
What/where do they drink? How often is water changed and drinker cleaned?
Do you use a cleaner to clean things?
Was there any signs of breathing wheezing or watery eyes?
Was she laying?
Where did you buy the hens and did you see the place?
Did the place have turkeys?
