I have just put out my potted geraniums and the leaves a already starting to loose their greeness. They have been over wintered in a porch with plenty of light but no frost and a ginnel behind the house whick is covered with plastic roofing so still plenty of light. They kept their leave over the winter but now the leaves are starting to fade.
Is it something to do with direct light or some sort of deficiency. I cant work out what the cause is.

Sounds like they need a feed. If you have fed them I would give them a drink of magic seaweed extract.

I agree with Trikidiki, if they haven't been re-potted they might be getting short of nutrients, or it might be a natural drop of the older leaves and new ones will start to grow. Either way a feed will give them a boost, I give mine tomato food.
