just reading through "  the how did you get into this " thread and i read about how trapper went scrumping ,well i certainly did .and got the scars to prove it . dont old fellas wack ur lug hard when ya a kid? so now i sit n watch the kids scrumpng my pears and apples hands over the hedge one lad perched on anothers shoulders .do i go and rant at them , nah ,its pay back for my days i think besides i am sure i did a better job of it

Reminds me of the kids being vandals on the plot - chased the little bees and started to catch up. Then I thought ' What do I do if I catch him?'  - I mean clip the little sod and I end up in court. Show's modern youth ain't what they was - when I was 13 no 50 year old would have had a hope of catching up with me.

oh i still got a turn of speed lol and im 50 .but as you say .u clip em n ur banged up .mind the little sods all know me being in a small village n the scout leader lol
