Anyone know of places in Glasgow to get fertiliser/manure?  Lawn in a helluva mess and need to get it kick started this spring

Yeah!  Grass is a mess and could do with a good manure / fertiliser spread over it with overseeding.

I don't think manure is what you need for overseeding.  I would go for a good quality top soil and then some general purpose fertiliser or one of the products specifically designed for lawns.  If you have a garden centre or DIY place locally, they will have both.
