Hello. I have a couple of lovely Camellias flowering now which I would love to have more of. I've tried cuttings (several times) and I have tried layering. The cuttings have never taken and the layers refuse to root! Is there anyone who can give me any tips?

Have you tried air layering?  Place a piec od plastic around a leaf node fasten one end of the plastic around the branch,fill with damp compost, fasten the other end of the plastic, wait until roots appear then separate from the parent plant. I think you would do it on semi ripe wood, you can cut & wedge open a notch as well.
