I am doing my seed orders at the moment and I am looking for a recommendation for sunflowers which are suitable for vases.

Hi,
I found little leo to be a really good sunflower, it is a dwarf going to about 2ft and can have over a dozen heads, the stems weren't overly thick either. I've not used them for cutting so can't say how long the would last.

I grow sunflowers for cutting every year and they are certainly worth it. Last year the best were Earth Walker, Harlequin, Velvet Queen and Dwarf Yellow Hedge. They were all still producing flowers in October!

I normally just plant seeds found in the wild bird food.   Cheers,  Tony.
