RIGHT, who said to wear gloves when peeling beetroot, has anyone tried it ???, its like trying to handle a very very slippery thing :lol: :lol:, ditched the gloves and my hands are near normal colour today from yesterdays pickling session, bolthardy and chiogia taste great, Dave
Today i will be mainly wearing no trousers

Boil 'em and then the thin outer skin just slips off.  I've never had any bother (and the pink stain wears off in time!

Use a piece of kitchen towel to slip the skins off, keeps hands relatively pink free!

I boil them then slip off the skins with my hands in plastic bags
