Okay so I have forgot my leeks this year. If I get the seeds going this weekend, whilst I ain't gonna win any awards will I get a useable crop?

You'll get mini leeks  :D but I don't think they'll stand through any bad weather.

Thanks mum, any crop better than no crop. Should I go straight in the ground or start off in the greenhouse to catch up a bit?

If it were me I'd go for the in modules option............................. but I'm not sure they'd appreciate the 38C in my greenhouse today

My opinion is that seeds sown now will be a waste of time. Try to get some plants.

Quite a few crops can be sown in mid-summer, there's a list here
