Funny you should say that, they did love it! I turned my back feeling smug that they wont egg peck, turned round & they were fighting over it. Lol!
I've realised they'll only eat soft shell eggs to clear them up. They left all the ones in the nest boxes alone. Was funny though. The farmer we bought them from once tried whiskey in a blown egg to put them off - apparently they loved that too!
