Not sure muntjacs do that - badgers certainly do!  :nowink:
Sow your seeds, plant your plants. What's the difference? A couple of weeks or more when answering possible queries!

Muntjacks do not dig holes and their poo is like sheeps poo.

Holes with nasty poo is how badgers behave. Lucky you ::)

They'll gobble up some of each of your delicious corn cobs the night before you realise they are ready! And leave half eaten cobs scattered all over the ground.  Make a really strong wired cage with a top to stop them getting at them if you can.

Last year they used the same hole every day until it was nearly full,  and then they dug a new one (or two.)

They have been known to eat various crops, especially sweet corn.  :nowink:

Even in a 'private' Sheffield suburban garden I can't do more than try to make it as unwelcoming as I can to them...and the foxes...and the local cats.

Badgers don't see well, but have an excellent sense of smell and are very strong.  So ....  I found a strong garlic spray (made to keep the the slugs off hostas and pungent!) worked a treat one year at guiding them away from thinking about my sweetcorn, or the nice soft earth.

Havent had them around the plot for the last few years - they havent bothered to climb the rabbit fencing.  Too much good stuff elsewhere I expect.  They are in the neighbourhood.
