I'm not convinced it will produce, but have no experience of this problem.

Plants are amazingly determined. My money's on you still getting a decent crop.

If the growing tip's gone, I don't think it'll produce any more brussels other than those that are already there. You may get a few off the stump, but that's it.

There will be very small ones where the leaf joins the stem, you might not be able to see them yet!

I'd have barbecued the culprit, how rude is that. We had one of the old boys take a head off a brussel plant last year trying to catch cabbage whites. It never did anything.

He runs around with a childs fishing net, swiping the air like a mad man.
