I've been fortunate enough to have been given about a dozen bags of assorted bags of compost (multipurpose, grow bags and one or two peat mixtures)

I don't want to squander my good fortune so what's the most effective way to use them do you think? Save them up for future potting needs, dig them in, build a raised bed?
 
I would add that the soil in my allotment is pretty good anyway - a nice loamy mix that was well looked after by the previous tenant.

Lucky You. If they are full sealed bags i would save them for future use.

They are full bags and sealed although a few have holes and tears in. They are damaged stock.

Save for potting compost.
