A total disaster the frost has murdered nearly all my tomato plants they were all ferline blight resistant if it's not frost it's blight so I'm wondering is it to late to start and sow again after 45 years of growing this is the first this has ever happened ,I usually grow about 200 plants for my 16 by 42 polytunnel and give the fruit to my neighbours maybe not this year what's to do thanks

you must have a lot of neighbours. lol.

i found last year the tomatoes i sowed late were far healthier and gave a heavier crop, but were 2 or 3 weeks behind. so yes no problem with starting again.

Not to late to sow, you can also catch up if any one has larger plants by collecting the side shoots and planting them on. Ideally they need to be at least  3 inches long. They will root and catch up some of the lost time. I have heard of people only sowing one seed and cloning all their tomato's from the one plant this way.

we got our first plot on the 17th May 2007 and I sowed EVERYTHING the week after, tomatoes included, we had a bumper crop  :D it's never too late to try  ;)
