Brought some strawberry plants ( seedlings ) today from poundland, they are in sealed bags. when is the best time to plant them, as they are in sealed bags I don't want the soil to go dry

If it where me, I'd pot them up, then plant out when the soil conditions improve.

I would  plant them up as soon as possible, in pots. Strawberries are tough, and need a period of cold to form flower buds too, so once they are in their pots, keep them somewhere cold but not frozen solid.

Keeping them in their bags will be the kiss of death I'm afraid  :(
