Poorly Thelma
« on: October 26, 2014, 17:03 »
Hi guys i need some help please. My Thelma is not very well she has got a comb that seems to have shrunk and turning purple/black and seems to have no energy. She has not got a runny nose or eyes(they are still bright) she is moulting and all the girls where wormed end of sept. she is still eating a small amount and drinking to.I dont think she is laying either. As she  walks it looks more like a duck but i can not see or feel any broken eggs or see any lumps and her pooh seems to be loose and a green colour and watery.I had to wash her bum today and she enjoyed the blow dry she does not seem to be in any pain either she is a warren(not ex batt) and is two and never had any health issues before cheers Andy

they can be lethargic when moulting but if she has green watery poo sounds like she may have  a virus

it might pay you to take a trip to the vets for some antibiotics

It would be good if you could isolate her until you find out what is wrong - just in case it is infectious.

The comb colour may indicate a heart issue. A vet may be your best recourse. :(
Experience is what you get when you didn't get what you wanted!!
