Hi

If anyone is interested Buckets Pet Foods in Louth is giving these away on Gumtree:

Dimensions are roughly 30 x 40 x 28 cm

I collected a couple at the weekend and they asked me to pass the word on  :D so that's what I'm doing!

Not sure what to use them for, but am thinking to put the petrol can and my wellies in when transporting to the lottie.  Also thought might (eventually!) try to make incubator?

No doubt many more uses will be suggested  :)

I grow my leeks in Polystyrene boxes - drainage holes punched in the bottom, and perhaps cut it down so the root depth is not too great. I painstakingly sow each seed 1/2" apart, so they all have room to grow and get nice pencil-thickness plants when it comes time to transplant :)

Oh blast I was in Louth yesterday, presuming that is the pet shop in the town.  I find polystyrene boxes handy to put pots into in the greenhouse, just gives them that extra bit of warmth over the winter.
