I wont be growing F1 Lizzano tomatoes

Went for these as meant to be blight resistant, enormous amounts of fruit and exceptionally sweet

Yes no blight issues- but we have moved house from 'blight central'- and no others were affected- so next year not going to worry about blight so much (we used to live in a valley where they grew spuds- think as soon as they were hit the spores landed by the ton!)
And yes got plenty of fruit- over 3Kg from one plant

but I have never had such bitter cherry tomatoes, and also I have never know a tomato split this badly

If you left the fruits on until they were fully ripe they were splitting on the plant, and if you picked them as they nearly ripened they split in your hand!
And if you did manage to pick them without them splitting they then split while sat in a bowl!

our other tomatoes treated the same have not split at all!
Who knows!
shame as other wise a nice looking easy plant!
Very often quite lost- would be more lost if I could work out where I was!- But always find my way home.....

Next year I will not...

   worry so much.

After all if anything at all grows long enough / big enough / well enough to eat is a gain.  :)
