if i sow now    can i overwinter  all year round caulis   this years where a great failure  ty

i didn't sow my cauliflowers last year until september. as the first ones went to seed and the second sowing got eaten to pieces by caterpillars. so gave up until the butterflies went away and the midday temperatures got lower.

they all cropped well, a bit on the late side though.

i will be doing the same again this year.

The variety I grew over winter last year was called Galleon (I think) a very good variety & I sowed them early August.
99% Organic and 1% Slug Pellets.

Allotment holder since 27th May 2007.
