oooh eck, WG, not sure it was that big and scary!  Not fair to shock me with such a monster when I've been hitting the Baileys!  Read somewhere though that it doesn't really cause a problem to the plants. Didn't affect mine - that was the rain, rain and more rain last year !!  PS So nice to be back on the Forum. I've missed the banter.  Also sorry I didn't take you up on the holiday cottages, didn't work out.
Still glowing, still growing, still going strong!

Although I'm very new to growing from seed, I had 100% germination last year. I used a combination of a toilet rolls and cell trays to sow tomatoes, peppers, lobelia, petunia and nasturtiums. I was planning on doing the same this year but as I now have my lottie and don't want to risk any fungi maybe I'll have a go at those paper pots.
Where's the Radox?!!

Another site to watch paper pots being made!!   Google ehow and type in paper pots.  There is a nice lady showing you how to make them with a glass and newspaper.

Well..............TA DA!!!.........I managed my first wonky pot a la geocites instruction today. Half a sheet of The Sun gave just slightly more width than a loo roll.  Suggest you hang on to your loo rolls though to assist when filling them with soil, as by inserting the roll into the pot it gives an element of stability about it.

Welcome justpassing, noticed your first ever post, please park up for a while and post some more :)
