Hi all just got back from the lottie and noticed that the onions look like they are dying. The leaves are now yellow, anyone have any ideas? I'll try to add some photos when I work out how to do it.

most of my autum sets went that way   roots eaten away   thing it was white rot....not much hope for them     sry

Try giving them a gentle pull, if they pull away really easily then it's white rot at the roots. A health growing onion will not pull up easily - so you can tell the difference.

Pull up any that are loose and chop and freeze them, cos they won't keep.
Leave the others to grow on some may ripen, but do the pull check regularly to make sure they're still ok.

Unfortunately, this will stay in your soil for a long time. Don't compost any of it, and avoid growing any allium there for quite some time.
