« on: June 09, 2014, 22:53 »
Hi, when earthing up potatoes do you put compost over the foilage, this is what I have been doing but turned my back and because of all the rain they have shot up a bit, do I just lob compost on top until they are covered again  ???

You don't need to earth up anymore - you only do this at the start to stop frosts getting to the leaves and to make sure the potatoes are deep enough under the ground. Just let them get on with it now and turn into a jungle!
