My Marco garlic is sending up flower stalks. What do I do, if anything?

They were planted in May last year, and are the remains of my awful garlic marbles which I thought had died, but came back at the end of last year.

Do I cut out the flower stalk?

Other than a radical haircut to get rid of rust, they look good.

The flower stalks are called scapes and are very edible delicasey in restaurants they charge silly prices for them so dont worry they are fine
