I must stop calling them chicks!! They are pullets now and 18 weeks this coming Friday, which means they could start to lay eggs anytime from next week!!!!

Better get the nest boxes ready!!!!!!

I need some scaffold planks and have found some on evilBay for £60 for 10 planks (a local sawmill can only do them for £19 per sheet   )  and he's in Louth - I was thinking that if I bought them for making raised beds I could call in and collect about 6-10 pullets from you Grannie...

Not entirely sure when I'll be able to get down what with work commitments etc though so will let you know :D

Oooh, that would be nice suzi, but we are a bit further down than Louth.  Is that okay?  We are 8 miles SW of Boston, so about 41 miles from louth to us!  You'd have to come for lunch!!!!  or overnight?????

Hi mommap you can post them in your own album or in a joint album, or as part of a post, but you need to use something like photobucket for that.
See the notes about how to do it
Self-sufficient in rasberries and bindweed. Slug pellets can be handy.
