Last year it was terrible, they even put a label on it saying do not use for seed sowing. Buy 1 bag or see if there is a split one  and examine the contents.

IMO the B&Q Verve is better value, especially the big compressed bales. Especially if you get their over 60's discount on Wednesdays

I agree -- I only use Wickes compost when it is discounted at the end of the season, to dig into a couple of raised beds that didn't get much else during the year.

Verve has been OK
